Scarlett is a twenty-something emerging artist based in Northern California. Using watercolor and relief printmaking techniques she crafts work that examines femininity, dreams and her inner monologue. Memories of her childhood spent exploring in the woods, acting in homeschool plays and absorbing copious amounts of ancient mythology have a great impact on the concepts behind a lot of her work. In addition, her work is greatly shaped by her eternal quest to figure out being a woman and what part she plays in the world.

As a child Scarlett did everything from selling fanmade posters at music festivals to designing the local library card in 5th grade, and continues to display her works wherever she can. In addition to creating, she can often be found combing the shelves at used bookstores or hunting for good pebbles at the beach.
